Total investment required £27,500 plus VAT.

Abate has excellent relationships with the major banks and other lenders to help with the financial support of starting up. Natwest will fund up to 70% and Lloyds 65% (subject to status).

Our team is highly experienced and qualified in pest control, business acumen, sales and marketing. We invest this experience in training and guide our franchisees through the rigours of starting an excellent business to become members of the Abate Franchise ‘Family’. The key to success in any franchise is support – which we offer in abundance.  

Abate Franchise – Our Team

Our extensive and unique training programme ensures that, apart from qualifying as a Pest Technician, they will also learn all aspects of running a successful Abate Franchise. They attend an intensive tailored training course as well as receiving practical hands-on training with each franchisee in their own territory once their business is launched.

No previous experience is required as the comprehensive training will ensure that within a short period of time you will be in a position to run your own Abate Franchise knowing that you have a dedicated team in the background ready and willing to help and support you. 

The only restriction is the limit of your imagination, motivation and desire to succeed. Every franchisee, as part of the package, will receive for reference our operations manual covering all aspects of the business.

Abate Franchise – Training

The business has developed standard operating processes, method statements, is triple ISO accredited, has CHAS and Safe Contractor status and is a member of the BPCA (British Pest Control Association). In addition, Abate operates to BRC, M&S, Tesco food standards, SALSA, Soil Association, Organic and Red Tractor which allows the business to work in food grade operations. The result means the company can be trusted to deliver a high quality of service which is demonstrated through client retention and new client acquisition. 

Quality Standards

Pest Control Is More Than Rats And Mice!

Customers can access pest control services through different levels with service grades purchased based on different customer types.

Standard Contracts – The customer will receive several pest control visits each year. This is typically 6-8 times to coincide with the breeding cycle of rats and mice. This service is ideal for schools, hotels, pubs, restaurants, care homes and retail outlets.

Advanced Contracts – Mainly for businesses that are in the food chain, such as manufacturing plants, labelling factories and distribution warehouses. These sites have a visit each month and additional surveys to satisfy environmental laws and compliance.

Ad Hoc Work – This job work comes in from commercial premises that don’t have a defined visit schedule in place or directly from a residential customer. It’s the reactive part of the business where pests are already evident such as rats, mice, wasps, fleas or woodworm and the customer needs them eradicated at the earliest opportunity! Other ad hoc work includes bird proofing where Abate has a number of solutions including spiking, netting and laser systems.
